BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA – Yesterday evening, I had the pleasure of speaking at the National Elementary Honor Society Induction Ceremony for Pinewood Elementary in Mims.

During the ceremony I had the opportunity to speak with the inductees and their parents about the importance of academics, respect, and believing in their abilities to achieve any goals they set for themselves. I was extremely proud to see this amazing group of kids and to know that they are the future leaders of our community and country!

Please join me in thanking Pinewood Elementary Principal, Mrs. Robinson, for the invitation to join in the Inductee Ceremony, the teachers at Pinewood, for their selfless commitment to educating our students and of course, the parents who work so hard every day to make sure their children have every opportunity to succeed.

– Sheriff Wayne Ivey
