BREVARD COUNTY • COCOA, FLORIDA — Cocoa Police Detectives are currently searching for multiple suspects wanted for a burglary and criminal mischief at Cambridge Elementary School, located at 2000 Cambridge Drive.

According to Cocoa Police PIO Yvonne Martinez, just after 6 a.m. Monday, patrol officers responded to the school after receiving a call from an employee reporting multiple classrooms had been ransacked.

“Further investigation revealed nearly every classroom had been broken into with property destroyed and multiple iPads taken,” said Martinez.

“A review of the surveillance video indicates the burglary occurred on Saturday afternoon by at least two adult suspects. The suspects forced entry into the building through the windows and stole keys to the classrooms.”

Detectives and crime scene technicians are currently processing the evidence and attempting to identify the suspects in the video.

Anyone with information is asked to contact the Central Florida CRIMELINE at 1-800-423-TIPS. Callers will remain anonymous and can be eligible for cash rewards of up to $1,000 in this case.
