Eastern Florida State Spring Concert Series Kicks Off April 11

BREVARD COUNTY • COCOA, FLORIDA – The Simpkins Fine Arts Center at Eastern Florida State College’s Cocoa campus will come to life with a collection of choral and instrumental concerts during the month of April.
Concert tickets are $6 general admission, $5 for seniors/military and free for all EFSC students and Brevard Public School students with a valid student ID.
Performances are scheduled as follows:
• Wednesday, April 11, 7:30 p.m. – Spring Choral Concert: Dr. Robert E. Lamb, Conductor
EFSC choral students will host singers and instrumentalists from Florida Tech for a combined concert featuring classics from the past 600 years of music history.
• Thursday, April 12, 7:30 p.m. – EFSC Jazz Band Concert: Mr. James Bishop, Conductor
• Friday, April 13, 7:30 p.m. – EFSC Chamber Orchestra Concert: Mr. James Bishop, Conductor
• Thursday, April 19, 7:30 p.m. – Community Orchestra Concert: Mr. James Bishop, Conductor
• Thursday, April 26, 7:30p.m. – EFSC Wind Ensemble Concert: Mr. James Bishop, Conductor
• Saturday, April 28, 7:30 p.m. – Brevard Chorale: Mr. James Boyle, Conductor
Americana themed concert by this community chorus celebrating more than 50 years performing with selections that include Patriotic, American Folk, and American Spirituals.
