BREVARD COUNTY • COCOA, FLORIDA – Florida Highway Patrol (FHP) is investigating an incident that involved a car crashing into a 7-Eleven convenience store Tuesday afternoon on 1451 Clearlake Rd. in Cocoa.

According to a report released by FHP, the driver was traveling east on Rosetine Rd., in his 2003 Toyota Corolla, and turned right into parking lot of 7-Eleven. When the driver went to park in a parking spot in front of the store, the driver claims the gas pedal became stuck and did not stop.

As a result, the vehicle slammed into the wall of the 7-Eleven, and, eventually, came to a rest in a unoccupied restroom.

Troopers with the state patrol say no one inside the store was injured in the crash and the driver was ticketed for careless driving.

The driver has been identified as Saint Jules Cajuste, 40, from Palm Bay.
