SpaceX Falcon 9 Rocket Launch From Cape Canaveral Slated For Tuesday, March 6

BREVARD COUNTY • CAPE CANAVERAL, FLORIDA – SpaceX announced that the Falcon 9 rocket launch from Cape Canaveral carrying the Hispasat 30W-6 communications satellite is scheduled for Tuesday, March 6, after a stand down order was given this past weekend for the launch due to testing on the fairing’s pressurization system.

Launch window is set to open at 12:33 a.m. ET and will close at 2:33 a.m. ET.

The upcoming launch will be the first launch for SpaceX from Cape Canaveral since the record-breaking Falcon Heavy launch on February 6.

According to SpaceFlightNow, Hispasat 30W-6 satellite will provide television, broadband, corporate networks and other communications services over Europe, North Africa and the Americas.
