Titusville Fire Rescue Responds to Rollover Crash, Saves Victim With New Winch Capability

BREVARD COUNTY • TITUSVILLE, FLORIDA – Titusville Fire and Emergency Services responded at approximately 7:37 p.m. to the report of a single vehicle rollover crash with entrapment on South Street near Wild Ocean Seafood.

“On arrival, E11 found one vehicle on its roof with one patient mostly out of the vehicle, with one arm pinned under the hood,” said Titusville Fire officials.

“E10 arrived and assisted with cribbing and utilized E11’s winch to lift the vehicle off the patient’s arm within minutes of arrival. E11 is our newest engine which we added the winch capability to during the pre-build process to enhance our rescue/response capabilities.”

The patient was transported in stable condition by Brevard County Fire Rescue and the Titusville police are investigating.
