SPACE COAST DAILY TV: A West Melbourne police officer was injured when his police cruiser was involved in a crash with a Volkswagen Jetta Tuesday about 4 p.m.

BREVARD COUNTY • WEST MELBOURNE, FLORIDA – A West Melbourne police officer was injured when his police cruiser was involved in a crash with a Volkswagen Jetta Tuesday about 4 p.m.

The crash occurred on U.S. 192 near the Interstate 95 exit.

According to police, the Jetta driver and the officer were both taken to the hospital.

The identity and condition of the officer and Jetta driver have not been released at this time.
