Boil Water Notice Issued For Barefoot Bay Residents Living South of Micco Rd.

A precautionary boil water notice has been issued for residents of Barefoot Bay living south of Micco Road.

BREVARD COUNTY • BAREFOOT BAY, FLORIDA – A precautionary boil water notice has been issued for residents of Barefoot Bay living south of Micco Road.

Only residences at the following locations will be under the precautionary boil water notice: 600-651 Marlin Circle; all of Amberjack Court; 600-624 Dolphin Circle; 600-615 Tarpon Drive; and 8264-8268 Brown Road.

Residents who do not live at the addresses listed are not affected by this boil water notice.

Once water services have been restored, Brevard County Utilities advises that all water used for drinking, cooking, making ice, brushing teeth, or washing dishes should be boiled.

A rolling boil of one minute is sufficient. As an alternative, bottled water may be used.

The precautionary boil water notice will remain in effect until a bacteriological survey shows the water is safe to drink. At that time, a notice of rescission will be issued.
