BREVARD COUNTY • MELBOURNE, FORIDA– The NJCAA Championship Events Committee has announced that Eastern Florida State College will host the 2019 NJCAA Division I Men’s Golf Championship.

The tournament will be held at Duran Golf Club from May 14 to 17 and will be the second time the school has hosted the national tournament.

Eastern Florida State College hosted the national championship tournament in 2016 and Kerry Sweeney won the individual title with a 65 in the final round.

“We are very excited to once again host the 2019 Golf National Championship in Melbourne,” Eastern Florida State College Associate Vice President of Athletics Jeff Carr said.

“We thoroughly enjoyed hosting the event in 2016 and it was great to see some of the very best golfers in the country right here in our backyard; it also is a great event for our community and has a significant economic impact on the area.”
