59 cannabis plants were found growing indoors

In continuing efforts to target illegal drug sales within the City of Melbourne, the Melbourne Police Department Special Investigations Unit, with assistance from the Melbourne Police Department Community Response Team, executed a search warrant last week for cultivation and manufacturing cannabis at 1796 Pontiac Circle N. in Melbourne.

BREVARD COUNTY • MELBOURNE, FLORIDA – In continuing efforts to target illegal drug sales within the City of Melbourne, the Melbourne Police Department Special Investigations Unit, with assistance from the Melbourne Police Department Community Response Team, executed a search warrant last week for cultivation and manufacturing cannabis at 1796 Pontiac Circle N. in Melbourne.

According to the Melbourne police, 59 cannabis plants were found growing indoors in two different rooms.

The operation used an elaborate lighting, ventilation and nutrient watering system. Charges are pending.

Drugs seized include 59 cannabis plants with a total weight of 48.2 pounds, and about a half pound of loose cannabis and cannabis seeds.
