BREVARD COUNTY • TITUSVILLE, FLORIDA – Friends and co-workers joined last week to celebrate the promotion of Titusville Fire and Emergency Services Driver Operator David Neeld to the rank of Lieutenant.

Lt. Neeld has been serving the citizens of Titusville for more 12 years, has received multiple awards and also serves as the Local 2445 union president.

“Congratulations on your accomplishment and your service to our community,” said Titusville Fire and Emergency Services officials on social media.

Separated into two distinct divisions of Operations and Administration, the purpose of Titusville Fire and Emergency Services is to:

• Prevent loss of lives and property damage by fire, hazardous substance releases, and natural and man-made emergencies; and

• Provide equipped and trained first response advanced life support for our citizens; provide annual inspections of all commercial occupancies to identify and correct fire and hazard safety violations in the protection of both the property owner and members of our community; and

• Provide, within the limitations of department resources, public education/information classes, lectures, and demonstrations regarding potential health and property hazards.
