SILVER ALERT UPDATE: Missing Endangered 83 Year-Old Geraldine Horowitz Found Safe

Cocoa police have located Geraldine Horowitz, who was found safely in Stuart around 4 a.m. Sunday morning.

BREVARD COUNTY • COCOA, FLORIDA – Cocoa police have located Geraldine Horowitz, who was found safely in Stuart around 4 a.m. Sunday morning.

Cocoa police detectives and patrol officers were searching for her due to medical conditions. Before being found, Horowitz, 83, was last seen at around 12 noon Saturday near her home on Indian River Drive.

“She was supposed to meet her daughter for lunch downtown and never arrived,” said Cocoa Police Public Information Officer Yvonne Martinez.

“The investigation revealed she used a bank card in the Vero Beach area at 7:49 p.m.”

Horowitz is a white female, 5-foot, 5-inches tall, weighing approximately 165 pounds with short hair that is gray in front and black in back.

Bulletins have been issued along with a Silver alert. Horowitz is driving a red 2009 Jeep Liberty Sport with Florida tag L874LB.
