Vehicle Crash On I-95 In South Brevard Sends One Person To Hospital Via Helicopter

BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA – Palm Bay Fire Rescue responded to a crash involving a vehicle and a trailer Monday afternoon near mile marker 166 in Grant-Valkaria.

According to a spokesperson with Palm Bay Fire Rescue, “extensive extrication” was required to remove the victim trapped in the vehicle.

The victim was transported to a nearby hospital via helicopter.

The result of the crash caused a slowdown along southbound I-95 as crews worked the scene.

The crash happened around 5 p.m.
