BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA – This past weekend members of “A Girl With A Gun” attended the Brevard County Sheriff’s Office “Self Defense Through Tactical Shooting and Decision Making” class that is held at the BCSO Firearms Range in Cocoa.
This one of a kind 8-hour class is divided into four parts that include tactical shooting under the supervision of BCSO Firearms Instructors, a legal section on Self Defense and Stand Your Ground, self-defense through mental preparedness and “shoot/don’t shoot” scenarios in a computer simulator. At the conclusion of the course, participants are also provided their packet to obtain their concealed carry permit.
I would like to personally thank the team at “A Girl With A Gun” for getting everyone registered for the class, all of the attendees, and of course our incredible instructors for their amazing skill set and ability to teach gun safety and personal protection.
For more information on the class or to attend a future class please visit our website at BrevardSheriff.com or contact our Career Development Unit at 321-264-5201.
