First Lady Melania Trump underwent a successful embolization procedure on Monday to treat a benign kidney condition, according to White House staff.

WASHINGTON D.C. – First Lady Melania Trump underwent a successful embolization procedure on Monday to treat a benign kidney condition, according to White House staff.

It is reported that the First Lady is at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center and is expected to remain there for the duration of the week.

“This morning, First Lady Melania Trump underwent an embolization procedure to treat a benign kidney condition. The procedure was successful and there were no complications,”said the communications director for the First Lady on Monday.

“The First Lady looks forward to a full recovery so she can continue her work on behalf of children everywhere.”
