Dontarious Jordan, 21, booked into Brevard County Jail

BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA – Back in October 2017, five vehicles were burglarized in the area of Mallard Road and Egret Road, unincorporated Cocoa, where a firearm, ammunition and cash was stolen.
Brevard County Sheriff’s Deputies responded to the scene to investigate the crimes. While processing the crime scene, Deputy Michele Kolker was able to locate and recover a latent fingerprint as evidence.
Her diligent actions proved fruitful when in March 2018, the BCSO Identification Unit was able to match the fingerprint to 21-year-old Dontarious Jordan.
Deputy Tyler Harrell was able to subsequently locate Jordan where he was detained and held for GCU agents to respond as part of the investigation.
Agent Maria Fernez and Agent Randy Truitt responded to the scene and through their investigative efforts charged Jordan with Armed Burglary, Grand Theft of a Firearm and Violation of Felony Probation. Jordan is currently being held at the Brevard County Jail Complex on a “No Bond” status.
Please join me in thanking all involved in the investigation for their teamwork and efforts to take another violent and dangerous criminal off our streets!
