Florida Tech Panther Ty Cohen Named Sunshine State Conference Pitcher of the Week

BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA – Florida Tech senior ace Ty Cohen has been named the Sunshine State Conference’s Pitcher of the Week are posting a career performance in his final time on the mound.

This is the first time this season he has received the award, and the fourth of his career.

Cohen threw the second complete game of the season on Saturday to help Florida Tech defeat Rollins, 6-1, on the road in the Panthers’ season finale.

During his nine innings of work, Cohen surrendered only one run and three hits while fanning a career-best 15 batters.
