TAMPA, FLORIDA – Tampa Police have arrested three young men after street racing led to a fatal crash that claimed the life of a young mother pushing a stroller on Wednesday and critically injuring her 21-month-old daughter.

Police say a 2018 black Ford Mustang, driven by 18-year-old Cameron Herrin, was driving northbound on Bayshore Boulevard on Wednesday around 11:43 a.m..

Witnesses described the Mustang traveling at a high rate speed, alongside a gold Nissan, driven by 17-year-old John Barrineau.

The police report says at times the cars were side by side, and at other times they switched places and switched lanes, according to witnesses.

The Mustang driven by Cameron Herrin struck the victims who were crossing Bayshore Boulevard near W Knights Avenue.

Victim Jessica (Reisinger) Raubenolt, 24, was pushing her daughter, 21-month-old Lillia, in a stroller when they both were struck.

Both victims were transported to Tampa General Hospital where Jessica Reisinger was declared deceased at the hospital.
