Titusville Police Respond To 911 Call, Take Down Suspect For Sexual Battery On A Child

Miguel Martinez-Seda, 26, charged with Sexual Battery of a Child under 12-years-old

Titusville Police Detectives arrested a Titusville man for the sexual battery of a young child.

BREVARD COUNTY • TITUSVILLE, FLORIDA – Titusville Police Detectives arrested a Titusville man for the sexual battery of a young child on Tuesday.

The man has been identified as Miguel Martinez-Seda, 26, from Titusville.

Police say at around 2:15 p.m. on Tuesday, a family member of the victim called 911 to report the crime that had just occurred on the 1400 block of Mac Donald Street.

“The preliminary investigation has revealed that the suspect was in custodial care of the victim when the sexually battery occurred,” said Titusville Police in statement.

“The suspect was located, interviewed and subsequently taken into custody by detectives around 6:30 p.m..”

Martinez-Seda has been charged with Sexual Battery of a Child under 12-Years-Old and booked into the Brevard County Jail with a no bond status.
