Wickham Road Music Invites Public to Celebrate Grand Opening of New Location on Saturday

BREVARD COUNTY, MELBOURNE, FLORIDA – Wickham Road Music is celebrating its grand opening Saturday, May 19, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Wickham Road Music, located at 4900 off N. Wickham Road, Suite 106, in Melbourne, is inviting the public to a great day of savings, entertainment and great deals running throughout the day.

If you are a musician or know someone who is, this event is one that you won’t want to miss.

Owner Don Farnsworth is a musician and received his bachelor’s degree in music education from the University of Cincinnati, College-Conservatory of Music. He plays nearly anything that makes music, but his love is the classical guitar.

Farnsworth has studied classical guitar with Clare Callahan, Professor of Classical Guitar at CCM and John Patykula, currently with Virginia Commonwealth University Department of Music.

He has also had master classes with Christopher Parkening, John Williams, Julian Bream and Oscar Ghiglia.

Prior to opening a music store, Farnsworth spent 23-years in the United States Army serving in infantry, field artillery and the Adjutant General’s Corps, and served in Operation Desert Shield and Desert Storm in 1990 and 1991.

Wickham Road Music is a family-owned business. On Saturday, Don, his son Cullen and director of public relations,  Jackie Blue, the family dog, will all be there to ensure you have a great time.

Don, Cullen and Jackie Blue want you to prepare yourself for a fun-filled day of music giveaways, raffles, live music, flash sales (too incredible to advertise), hands-on product demos of your favorite gear and more.  Wickham Road music will be raffling off a Yamaha full 88 weighted key keyboard as well as guitars, accessories and gear.

All proceeds go to benefit local school music programs through the D’Addario Foundation. Notably, 100-percent of the proceeds goes to the children they help who are in need.

Live music will be presented through community musicians and Wickham Road Music’s own music instructor staff.

Many manufacturer representatives will be on site for product demos and to answer questions about your favorite gear and talk directly with Guild, GK, PRS and more.

Flash sales will give the opportunity for the greatest savings on certain items you won’t see anywhere else and will feature deals that are hard to pass up.

Wickham Road Music wants to celebrate with their clients and friends for making their move to a new location a reality.
