Eastern Florida State Has 24 Student-Athletes Named to NJCAA All-Academic Team

BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA– Men’s basketball player Silas Adheke, volleyball player Elisa Pauzer, women’s soccer player Jaime Farls and men’s golfer Ryan Rozic all made the first team with 4.0-grade point averages.

It is the second straight year that Farls has been named to the All-Academic team.

Overall, 24 Titan athletes were recognized for their work in the classroom, finishing the school year with 3.60-grade point average or better. The men’s golf and women’s volleyball teams led the way with four players apiece making the team.

Making the all-academic second team with GPA’s between 3.80 and 3.99 were softball player Alexis Neiberline, volleyball player Ariel Letcher, baseball player Boris Villa, women’s golfer Gianna Piscitelli, women’s tennis player Jaime Duque and men’s golfer Kyle Decenzo.

Fourteen Titans made the third team with GPA’s between 3.60 and 3.79, they are men’s tennis players Andreas Wejs and Gabriel Robichaud, women’s basketball players Angeni Worley and Embla Andersson, volleyball players Erin Arbour and Lorrayne Da Silva, baseball player Jakob Zarrello, women’s soccer players Katie Lockwood and Meghan Dees.

From men’s golf, Patxi Londaitz and Beck Fox made the team as did men’s basketball player Nathanael Jack, softball player Olivia Everett and women’s tennis player Shaeda Nickle.

Men’s tennis players Andreas Wejs and women’s soccer player Jaime Farls (pictured) were recognized for the second straight year. Along with Farls and Wejs, Londaitz, Decenzo, Lockwood, and Dees were all recognized for the second straight season. Along with Farls, Wejs, Londaitz, Decenzo, Lockwood, and Dees were all recognized for the second straight season. It is also the second straight season the Titans have had over 20 players honored.

“What an accomplishment for these student-athletes,” Eastern Florida State College Associate Vice President of Athletics Jeff Carr said. “They represented Easter Florida State College well in the classroom and in their respective sports.

“We are very proud of their achievements and know their futures are bright because they embraced being a true student-athlete. Congrats to all.”
