HBCA of Brevard to Host Housing and Economy Event, NAHB’s Chief Economist Dr. Robert Dietz Keynote Speaker

For the first time in Brevard, the Home Builders & Contractors Association is hosting “Housing and the Economy” on Tuesday, July 17 at 8:30 a.m. Guest speaker Robert Dietz, Ph.D., Chief Economist and Senior Vice President for Economics and Housing Policy for the National Association of Home Builders, will provide an overview of current economic and housing conditions with an eye on residential construction impacts.

BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA – For the first time in Brevard, the Home Builders & Contractors Association is hosting “Housing and the Economy” on Tuesday, July 17 at 8:30 a.m.

This event will be held at the Home Builders & Contractors Association facility, located at 1500 W. Eau Gallie Blvd., Melbourne.

Guest speaker Robert Dietz, Ph.D., Chief Economist and Senior Vice President for Economics and Housing Policy for the National Association of Home Builders, will provide an overview of current economic and housing conditions with an eye on residential construction impacts.

Dr. Dietz will review national and local macroeconomic factors affecting housing demand, and detail the National Association of Home Builders’s economic forecast. Dr. Dietz has appeared on CNBC and is a regular contributor to the Wall Street Journal.

A question and answer session will follow the presentation.
