BREVARD COUNTY • PALM BAY, FLORIDA– Last week, Palm Bay Fire Rescue was so happy and joyful to announce that a young child who suffered a near-drowning only a few days prior stopped by Station 1 with Mom to let them know he is doing just fine.

They were so happy to see him again and looking so great.

“Rarely do we know what happens to our patients after they leave our care, so it is a blessing to see this,” said a PBFR spokesperson.

While mother and child stopped by to thank the crew at Station 1 for their heroic efforts in saving the child’s life, the brave men and women of Palm Bay Fire Rescue were equally as grateful for the opportunity to see their patient after the incident.

“Thank you for bringing him by, Mom, rarely do we know what happens to our patients after they leave our care, so it is a blessing to see this.”
