BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA – The National Weather Service has issued a severe thunderstorm warning on Thursday for Merritt Island, Cocoa, Cocoa Beach, Cape Canaveral, Rockledge and Satellite Beach until 8:15 p.m. et.
Winds up to 60 mph and heavy rain have been reported with the storm.
The storm could have the potential to produce penny-sized hail.
