UPDATE: Fatal Crash Involving Two Motorcycles, SUV In South Brevard

Florida Highway Patrol have released more information on a fatal crash involving two motorcycles and an SUV Wednesday night at the intersection of Minton Road and Hield Road in south Brevard.

BREVARD COUNTY • WEST MELBOURNE, FLORIDA – Florida Highway Patrol have released more information on a fatal crash involving two motorcycles and an SUV Wednesday night at the intersection of Minton Road and Hield Road in south Brevard.

Troopers say the motorcyclist that died at the scene is a 24-year-old man from Palm Bay. The identity of the man is being withheld until the family has been properly notified.

FHP has identified the other motorcyclist injured as 33-year-old Richard Bahre from Palm Bay. Bahre suffered minor injuries as a result of the crash and was transported to Holmes Regional for treatment, according to FHP.

The driver of the SUV is identified as a 36-year-old Theresa Lupe from Melbourne.

According to the investigation, Lupe was driving her SUV southbound on Minton Rd. when she made a left turn onto Hield Rd. and turned into the path of the two motorcyclists traveling northbound on Minton Rd.

The 24-year-old motorcyclist struck the right side of the SUV and died at the scene.

The other motorcyclist, Bahre, crashed into the SUV and the motorcycle.

Florida Highway Patrol is still investigating the crash and charges are pending, at this time.
