Florida Highway Patrol has identified the driver killed in single vehicle crash Wednesday morning on I-95 at miler marker 209 near Port St. John.

BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA – Florida Highway Patrol has identified the driver killed in single vehicle crash Wednesday morning on I-95 at miler marker 209 near Port St. John.

The driver is identified as 55-year-old Gary Scott from Titusville.

The investigation has revealed that Scott was traveling on southbound I-95 in a 2015 Chevy pickup truck when he drifted off I-95 for an unknown reason and struck a tree, causing the truck to overturn.

Investigators say that Scott could have possibly suffered a medical episode, which caused him to drift off I-95.

The crash happened around 6:30 a.m.
