BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA – Mac McLouth, a Republican candidate for the Port Canaveral Commission District 5 seat, announced Wednesday that he has received the endorsement of Brevard County Commissioner Jim Barfield.

“I endorse Mac McLouth as the Republican candidate for the Canaveral Port Authority, Mac has the experience and vision to help the port,” said Barfield.

“One of my bucket list items on the commission was to settle the Jetty Park land situation. Without Mac speaking at the Brevard County Commission meeting, the Jetty Park sale might not have passed. Mac’s institutional knowledge of the port is invaluable.”

Barfield was elected to the Brevard County Commission in November 2014.  He is a prominent businessman and president and CEO of Luke & Associates Inc. His company was recently awarded a five-year, $7.5 billion contract from the Defense Health Agency to provide services for the U.S. military, other government agencies and private industry.
