BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA – This weekend members of our Brevard County Sheriff’s Office Mounted Posse Unit took to the streets of the Barefoot Bay Community to help patrol the area while riding horseback through the community.

Not only did the unit provide increased patrol measures but they also had a chance to interact with a number of the area residents who enjoyed seeing the horses on patrol and also enjoyed getting a chance to take some up close photographs with the various members of our Mounted Posse Unit and their horses.

The Brevard County Sheriff’s Office Mounted Posse Unit is 100% comprised of volunteer Law Enforcement Officers and civilians who each donate their own horse, transportation and time to help us keep Brevard County a safe place to call home!!

Please join me in thanking them for everything they do to help protect our community!
