Cocoa Beach Police Identify Timothy S. McGahey, 28, as Man Found Dead in McDonald’s Parking Lot

BREVARD COUNTY • COCOA BEACH, FLORIDA – The Cocoa Beach police have identified the dead man discovered in the parking lot of McDonald’s restaurant on Friday as Timothy S. McGahey, 28, of the Cocoa Beach area.

McGahey’s body was discovered Friday about 10:30 a.m. in the rear parking lot of the McDonald’s, located at 3920 N. Atlantic Avenue.

“Investigators have cleared the scene,” said Cocoa Beach Deputy Chief Wes Mullins.

“There does not appear to be any obvious signs of trauma to the body nor suspected foul play. The decedent has been turned over to the Medical Examiner’s Office pending autopsy and toxicology results.”

According to the Cocoa Beach police, this appears to be an isolated incident and there is no safety concern for the community.
