National Weather Service in Melbourne Says High Coverage of Showers, Storms Again Today

BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA – The National Weather Service in Melbourne, Florida is calling for high shower and storm chances again today.

Stronger storms could contain wind gusts of 40 to 45 mph.

Torrential rain and frequent lightning strikes are also expected.

Temperatures are expected to remain in the upper 80’s to near 90 degrees over the far interior.

Along the coast temperatures will hit the lower 90’s.

So far this month, Orlando-Melbourne International Airport has received 3.85 inches of rain, according to Weather Underground.
