UPDATE: Police Arrest Violent Felon After Crashing Car Into Unmarked Titusville Police Car

Suspect ID'd as Kenneth Lamar Bell

The suspect has been identified as 28-year-old Kenneth Lamar Bell. Police describe Bell as 5-foot-7 in height, weighing 150 pounds.

**UPDATE**BREVARD COUNTY • TITUSVILLE, FLORIDA – Authorities have arrested the violent felon fugitive who was the suspect of an intensive search in the area of Cheney Hwy. (State Road 50) and Sisson Road in Titusville on Friday.

Law enforcement set up a perimeter in the area just before 11 a.m. on Friday after 28-year-old Kenneth Lamar Bell crashed his vehicle into a police truck and fled on foot when U.S. Marshalls and Titusville Detectives attempted to arrest him.

A perimeter was locked down and members of the Titusville SWAT team went door to door searching for the suspect. Officers later found the suspect hiding in a shed in a trailer at the Whispering Pines Trailer Park on Cheney Hwy.

Police located a gun in the suspect’s vehicle, and a passenger in the vehicle was also taken into custody. Police say both suspects face numerous charges.

Bell is suspected of crashing his vehicle into an unmarked Titusville police vehicle during an attempt by U.S. Marshalls and Titusville Detectives to arrest him in the parking lot of the Mobile Mart, located on 460 Cheney Hwy. at approximately 11:50 a.m. on Friday.
