Police have identified the victim as 22-year-old Dimitric Bailey. Detectives say Bailey died from a gunshot wound after he was found inside a 4-door Infiniti vehicle.

BREVARD COUNTY • COCOA, FLORIDA – Cocoa Police detectives have ruled Sunday night’s death investigation a homicide after a man was found dead at the end of Vagabond St. in Cocoa.

Police have identified the victim as 22-year-old Dimitric Bailey. Detectives say Bailey died from a gunshot wound after he was found inside a 4-door Infiniti vehicle.

According to Yvonne Martinez of the Cocoa Police Department, dispatchers received a call around 8:39 p.m. on Sunday about a man found dead inside a car. When police arrived they confirmed the victim was dead from a gunshot wound.

Police say they are interviewing witnesses and identifying potential suspects.
