BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA – Sergeant Scott Behringer, a 29-year veteran of the Brevard County Sheriff’s Office has worked with the BCSO Motor Unit the past 11-years and today shows us how they are working to stop excessive speeding on I-95 in Brevard County.
On today’s episode, Sgt. Behringer takes us through an operation being conducted on Interstate-95 near the Pineda Causeway exit.
As of the filming of the episode, seven motor vehicle fatalities have occurred on I-95 in Brevard County in 2018 and Sgt. Behringer explains how excessive speed contributes to those unnecessary accidents.
You will also see a motorist fail to observe “Florida’s Move Over Law” and the consequences for failing to change lanes with emergency vehicles stopped on the shoulder.
Sgt. Behringer also thanks the citizens of Brevard County for their support as he gets set to retire in 13-months after nearly three decades with the Brevard County Sheriff’s Office.
