Police Looking For Suspect Who Stole Boy Scouts of America 10-Foot Enclosed Trailer In Melbourne

Melbourne Police are asking for community’s help in identifying and locating a suspect that took a Boy Scouts of America Troop trailer last week in Melbourne.

BREVARD COUNTY • MELBOURNE, FLORIDA – Melbourne Police are asking for community’s help in identifying and locating a suspect that took a 10-foot Boy Scouts of America Troop enclosed trailer last week in Melbourne.

Police describe the white trailer as 2000 Pace American brand trailer with “Boy Scouts of America Troop #285” lettering and the Boy Scouts of America logo visible on both sides.

The Florida license plate number is 334WZN.

The suspect is believed to have taken the trailer between, Monday, August 6, and the afternoon of Wednesday, August 8.

According to Melbourne Police, the man in the picture was possibly seen with the trailer and is considered a person of interest to police. The man was last seen at the BP gas station, located on 1165 Sarno Rd., around 3:45 p.m. on Wednesday, August 8.

Melbourne Police are asking for any information about the suspect to call 321-608-MPD1.
