Trauma Alert Issued For Pedestrian Struck Thursday Afternoon On U.S. 1 in Cocoa

BREVARD COUNTY • COCOA, FLORIDA – Brevard County Fire Rescue responded to a vehicle vs. pedestrian crash in the 4000 block of U.S. 1 in Cocoa Thursday about 12:30 p.m.
According to Brevard County Fire Rescue, northbound U.S. 1 was shut down while crews worked the scene.
A Trauma alert was issued for a single patient and the First Flight helicopter is inbound.
The identity of the victim or the circumstances of the incident has not yet been released.
