Financial Advisor Tisha Howard Specializes In Assisting Divorced and Widowed Women

SPACE COAST DAILY TV: Tisha Howard from Raymond James & Associates recently sat down with Gina Liberto from Space Coast Daily to offer year-end financial tips. These tips include everything from balance sheets to asset allocation.
BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA – Financial Advisor Tisha Howard has called the Space Coast home most of her adult life and has raised her three daughters while enjoying a very active life.
“I love the beach and outdoor lifestyle,” said Howard.
She began her career with Raymond James & Associates in May 2010 after gaining extensive experience in the financial services industry.
Beginning in 1995 with Dean Witter Reynolds, now Morgan Stanley/Smith Barney, Howard obtained her Series-7 and Series-63 licenses. She later obtained the industry designation of Wealth Management Specialist (WMS) as well as her Life, Health and Variable Annuity license.
Most recently, Howard obtained the Series 66 and the Series 9/10 Branch Manager licenses.
She played an integral role in opening a Raymond James Financial Services office in 2003 where she worked as the Registered Office Manager for seven years. Today, as a Financial Advisor, Howard’s specialties and areas of expertise include the generational transfer of wealth and financial planning for divorced and widowed women.
Death, Divorce Can Take Financial and Emotional Toll
From her years of firsthand experience, she understands the significant transitional periods in life brought on by death and divorce can not only take a financial toll but an emotional one as well, and Howard makes it a point to be there for her clients on both levels.
“So often, I see divorced or widowed women that were left not knowing how to manage their wealth because it was something their husband or partner always took care of,” said Howard.
“Once I help them understand what they own, and how the stock market plays a role, they feel more confident about their financial plan and future.”
