Titusville Police Arrest Benjamin Wright, Charged with Attempted First-Degree Premeditated Murder

BREVARD COUNTY • TITUSVILLE, FLORIDA – Titusville Police have arrested Benjamin M. Wright, 33, of Titusville, who was charged with Attempted First Degree Premeditated Murder and Criminal Conspiracy.

According to Titusville police, at approximately 4:20 a.m. on Saturday, officers responded to a 9-1-1 call reporting that a woman had been stabbed at a residence located at 431 Loxley Court.

The preliminary investigation has revealed that the victim was a guest at the suspect’s home.

The suspect, who was still at his home with the victim when police arrived, was interviewed by police and subsequently taken into custody on Saturday around 5: a.m.

The victim, who has not yet been identified, was transported to a local hospital with life-threatening injuries.

Wright was booked into the Brevard County Jail.
