Two Cruise Ships Re-Routed To Port Canaveral Due To Hurricane Florence

Florence now a Category 4 Hurricane

Port Canaveral announced on Monday that two cruise ships are being re-routed to Port Canaveral as a result of Hurricane Florence.

BREVARD COUNTY • PORT CANAVERAL, FLORIDA – Port Canaveral announced on Monday that two cruise ships are being re-routed to Port Canaveral as a result of Hurricane Florence.

The Norwegian Escape out of New York will be making a port-of-call here at Port Canaveral instead of traveling to Bermuda.

According to the Harbormaster, the Escape is scheduled to arrive at Port Canaveral Cruise Terminal 10 on Tuesday, Sept 11 at 12:30pm with a scheduled departure at 9:00pm same day.

In addition, Royal Caribbean’s Grandeur of the Seas out of Baltimore, will be arriving on Wednesday.

The ship is set to arrive around 7 a.m., and will stay overnight on Wednesday.

It will depart sometime between 12 p.m. and 4 p.m. on Thursday.
