BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA – A Brevard County grand jury issued an indictment on Tuesday charging 25-year-old Reginald Little Jr. with first-degree murder in the death of 26-year-old Lemonta Wynn.

The grand jury also indicted Little for one count of attempted robbery with a firearm while inflicting death.

The murder occurred on August 20, 2018, when Melbourne Police responded to a shooting at 2513 Lipscomb Street where they found Wynn unresponsive and suffering from a fatal gunshot wound.

Rescue crews rushed him to Holmes Regional Medical Center, where he later died.

Lemonta Wynn, 26, was shot and killed by Reginald Little Jr. on August 20, 2018.

Investigators gathered information from witnesses and evidence at the scene, where they found that Little had planned to rob Wynn, then shot him during the attempt.

After the shooting, Little fled the area and an arrest warrant was obtained, charging him with first-degree murder.

After a month looking for Little, he was eventually captured on September 20 in New York and transported back to the Brevard County jail where he remains on no bond.
