Coasters Taphouse Wins at Fifth Annual ‘Taste of the Coast’ With Their Seafood Mac and Cheese

Seafood Mac n Cheese & Beef Tenderloin Sliders win the day as Over 350 people attend the event

Coasters Taphouse took top honors as the People’s Choice winner with their Seafood Mac n Cheese & Beef Tenderloin Sliders with beer-braised onions on Herb Butter toasted Brioche at the 5th Annual Taste of the Coast presented by the Cocoa Beach Regional Chamber of Commerce.

BREVARD COUNTY • MERRITT ISLAND, FLORIDA – Coasters Taphouse took top honors as the People’s Choice winner with their Seafood Mac and Cheese and Beef Tenderloin Sliders with beer-braised onions on Herb Butter toasted Brioche at the 5th Annual Taste of the Coast presented by the Cocoa Beach Regional Chamber of Commerce.

“The event was a huge success. We are thankful for having such great support from our local community,” said Cocoa Beach Regional Chamber of Commerce President & CEO Jennifer Sugarman.

“We are looking forward to hosting the event again next year.”

More than 350 people attended the event on September 28 at the Cocoa Beach Country Club as 13  food and beverage vendors gave the public a chance to sample their delicious appetizers, entrees, desserts and beverages.

In addition, 18 local business vendors displayed their information and products.

Coasters Taphouse took top honors as the People’s Choice winner with their Seafood Mac n Cheese & Beef Tenderloin Sliders with beer-braised onions on Herb Butter toasted Brioche at the 5th Annual Taste of the Coast presented by the Cocoa Beach Regional Chamber of Commerce.

Also, those who attended enjoyed winning prices from the 98.5 The Beach Spin-to-win wheel, bidding on over 50 silent auction baskets and listening to live music by the Gypsy Rain Band.

Coasters Taphouse was presented the First Place People’s Choice Award, determined by a popular vote of the attendees. Rising Tide tap and table received Second Place People’s Choice and Florida’s Fresh Grill received Third Place honors.

The Best Decorated Vendor Table went to the Brevard Humane Society.

The Cocoa Beach Regional Chamber of Commerce was established in 1968 and serves Cape Canaveral, Cocoa, Cocoa Beach, Kennedy Space Center, Merritt Island, Patrick Air Force Base, Port St. John, Rockledge, Palm Shores, Suntree and Viera.
