BREVARD COUNTY • MELBOURNE, FLORIDA –Eastern Florida State College’s soccer teams head to the postseason this week while the volleyball team winds down the regular season this week.

The men’s soccer team heads into the Region 8 Conference Tournament as the No. 2 seed and will host Daytona State College at 7 p.m. Tuesday night at Titan Soccer Complex.

The Titans are No. 19 team in the latest NJCAA Division I poll and have won six of the past seven games including a win at Daytona State College.

The winner on Tuesday night will advance to the championship game against Broward College Saturday night at Broward.

The women’s soccer team will host the Region 8 Conference Tournament this weekend, where they are 7-0 this season.

The Titans, who are No. 9 in the latest NJCAA Division I poll, will play the winner of Monday night’s ASA Miami-Polk State College game at 8 p.m. in the second semifinal on Friday.

Daytona State College will play Broward College at 5:30 p.m. Friday in the first semifinal. The championship game will be at 7 p.m. Sunday.

The women’s volleyball team will wrap up the regular season this week with two home matches.

On Tuesday the Titans will host Lake Sumter State College at 6 p.m. and then host St. Johns River College on Wednesday night.

Wednesday’s match will begin at 6 p.m. and will also be Sophomore Night for the Titans.

The women’s golf team is competing in the Flagler College Fall Slam on Monday and Tuesday and it will be the final fall tournament for the women’s team who is coming off a third-place finish at the 17th annual Webber Fall Invitational.

The men’s tennis team will travel to Daytona Beach this weekend for the Juan Varon Wildcat Invitational. The tournament, which features NCAA Division I and Division II teams, begins on Friday and goes until Sunday.

Admission to events at Eastern Florida State College are free.
