Unveiling Ceremony Today: Rockledge Regional Medical Center Joins Steward Health Care Family

Rockledge Regional Medical Center recently joined the Steward Health Care family

BREVARD COUNTY • ROCKLEDGE, FLORDIA – Rockledge Regional Medical Center will host a ceremony on Tuesday, October 30 as CEO Andy Romine and Rockledge Mayor Tom Price celebrate the hospital’s transition into the Steward Health Care Family.
Steward Health Care is the nation’s largest private, for-profit physician-led health care network in the United States. Headquartered in Dallas, Texas, Steward operates 36 hospitals in the United States and the country of Malta that regularly receive top awards for quality and safety.
The event will take place 5 to 7 p..m. in parking lot five, located at 110 Longwood Avenue in Rockledge.
“The unveiling of the Rockledge Regional Medical Center sign, at the corner of US 1 and Longwood Avenue, is a momentous occasion for the hospital and the community,” said Rockledge Regional Medical Center President Andy Romine.
“Since joining Steward, Rockledge continues to make strides in providing high quality and compassionate care to our community. We have lowered emergency room wait times to 16 minutes, made nearly every room a private room, and raised patient satisfaction to its highest level in six years.”

In addition to Prince and Romine, those in attendance will include Rockledge Regional Medical Center Chief of Medical Staff Dr. Dwayne Badgett, as well as representatives from the Rockledge Fire Department
and the Rockledge Regional Medical Center staff.
