18-Year-Old Motorcyclist Dies In Melbourne Crash At Intersection of W. Eau Gallie Blvd. and Mosswood Dr.

BREVARD COUNTY • MELBOURNE, FLORIDA – Melbourne Police are investigating a deadly motorcycle crash involving that killed an 18-year-old Melbourne resident Saturday night at the intersection of West Eau Gallie Blvd. and Mosswood Dr.
Police have identified the victim as Brandon Michael Thurber.
Authorities received a call around 6:04 p.m. Saturday night about a vehicle vs. motorcycle crash at the intersection of West Eau Gallie Blvd. and Mosswood Dr. When police arrived at the scene they found Thurber had sustained life threatening injuries as a result of the crash.
Thurber was transported to Holmes Regional Medical Center where he later died as a result of his injuries.
The driver of the other vehicle involved in the crash has been identified by police as 67-year-old Girish P. Shah from West Melbourne.
Melbourne Police are investigating the crash as a traffic homicide.
