Man Killed By Freight Train Overnight In Titusville Near Hopkins Ave. and Harrison St.

BREVARD COUNTY • TITUSVILLE, FLORIDA – Titusville Police responded to a deadly scene that involved a train striking a man early Thursday morning.

First responders received the call around 1:30 a.m. Thursday morning about a report of a pedestrian stuck by a freight train near the intersection of Hopkins Avenue and Harrison Street.

The man was pronounced dead at the scene, police say.

The identity of the man will be released after the next of kin has been properly notified.

There were no other injuries and the incident remains under investigation by the Titusville Police Department.
