Palm Point Behavioral Health Opens in Brevard, Expands Access to Meet Growing Needs of Community

Universal Health Services announced the opening of Palm Point Behavioral Health, a new 80-bed facility in Brevard County, that expands access to inpatient and outpatient mental health treatment across the region.

BREVARD COUNTY • TITUSVILLE, FLORIDA – Universal Health Services announced the opening of Palm Point Behavioral Health, a new 80-bed facility in Brevard County, that expands access to inpatient and outpatient mental health treatment across the region.

Palm Point Behavioral Health, located at 2355 Truman Scarborough Way in Titusville, is now accepting patients ages 9-17 years old and adults age 18 and up and will continue to add programs and services over the coming months.

“The new Palm Point Behavioral Health will address the growing need for inpatient behavioral healthcare and will continue serving the community with vital resources well into the future,” said Debbie Osteen, UHS Executive Vice President, and President, Behavioral Health Division.

The facility’s dedicated child and adolescent unit and separate adult units will offer specialized treatment for individuals experiencing behavioral health issues such as depression, bipolar disorder, psychosis or substance use disorder.

Another feature to be offered by the facility in the coming months is a mobile assessment team that will go into the community and respond to requests from local physician and therapist offices, urgent care centers, and school systems to provide no-cost assessments to determine if the patient should be recommended for treatment at Palm Point Behavioral Health.
