ORLANDO, FLORIDA (UCF Knights) – The undefeated UCF football team has moved up to No. 7 in both the Associated Press and USA Today Coaches polls, which were released Sunday.

The Knights are coming off a 38-10 victory over South Florida in the War On I-4 and are currently preparing for Saturday’s American Athletic Conference Championship Game, set for 3:30 p.m. at Spectrum Stadium.

UCF garnered 1,146 points in the Associated Press poll and moved up one position in the ranking. In the coaches poll, the Knights had 1,200 points and moved up two positions for the second consecutive week.

Seven is the highest ranking the Knights have had this season in either poll and the highest-ever ranking for UCF during regular season play. UCF boasts the highest-ranked team out of the state of Florida and the only ranked team in the American Athletic Conference.
