BREVARD COUNTY • VIERA, FLORIDA – The Viera Company will host a Grand Opening and ribbon cutting ceremony for the new Viera Town Center Dog Park & Playground on Friday, November 16 at 2 p.m.
The Grand Opening and ribbon cutting ceremony is open to the public and The Viera Company is encouraging community members and Viera residents to come out with their families, friends and four-legged buddies to enjoy the parks and refreshments to be provided by Earth Fare and Pet Smart.
The new park and playground are located on the northwest corner of Colonnade Drive and Rodina Drive behind the Centre Pointe luxury apartments which are under construction.
“We invite members of the community to the Viera Town Center Dog Park & Playground on November 16 to celebrate as we unveil this important, new amenity which will serve as the next addition to the Town Center,” said Todd Pokrywa, President of The Viera Company.
“We are very excited about the Town Center’s progress and the many announcements that will follow. We view this park, in the heart of the community as being a wonderful gathering place for families and dog lovers who are visiting the VieraTown Center.”
As the Viera Town Center continues to take shape with the recently opened Fairfield Inn & Suites, the upcoming Centre Pointe luxury apartments, and future mixed-use components, the addition of a children’s playground, open green space, and dog park areas represent key recreational space for the Town Center.
The parks and playground are open to visitors to the Viera Town Center. The adjoining sidewalk has been purposefully constructed with enough green space on either side to accommodate vendor event tents, allowing the Town Center to serve as an ideal location for art festivals, farmers’markets, and other exciting community events.
