Cocoa/Rockledge Holiday Parade Underway, Watch Live On Space Coast Daily TV

SPACE COAST DAILY TV: The Annual Cocoa–Rockledge Holiday Parade is underway and this year’s theme is Candy Factory Holiday, as voted on by the public. The parade will leave from Rockledge High School, go north on Florida Avenue, wind through Historic Cocoa Village and conclude at Riverfront Park in Cocoa.

BREVARD COUNTY • ROCKLEDGE, FLORIDA – The Annual Cocoa–Rockledge Holiday Parade will be held on Saturday, December 8.

This year’s theme is Candy Factory Holiday, as voted on by the public. The parade will leave from Rockledge High School at 3 p.m., go north on Florida Avenue, wind through Historic Cocoa Village and conclude at Riverfront Park in Cocoa.

There are 54 participants in this year’s parade, which makes it one of the larger parades in Brevard County. The judge’s review stand will be in front of the First Baptist Church of Cocoa at 750 Brevard Avenue.

Both sides of the affected roads will be closed to allow spectators to set up a place to watch the parade. Roads will close in Cocoa at 1 p.m., and in Rockledge at 2 p.m.

Sponsors for the parade are Brevard County Parks and Recreation, Central Area Parks Operation, City of Cocoa, and City of Rockledge.

Space Coast Daily’s Steve Wilson and Lisa Nicholas will bring you the parade in its entirety starting at 3 p.m.

St. Mary’s Catholic School won first place in the School category during the 2017  Cocoa –Rockledge Holiday Parade. The South Cocoa Village Misfits took top honors with the Judges Choice Award. (Facebook image)
