First Ever 16-Inch Softball League in Brevard County Coming to Cape Canaveral

The City of Cape Canaveral is currently registering players and teams for its first ever 16-inch softball league. 16-inch softball, sometimes called clincher, mushball, cabbageball or blooperball, is a variant of softball, but using a bigger ball with no gloves or mitts on the fielders.

BREVARD COUNTY • CAPE CANAVERAL, FLORIDA – The City of Cape Canaveral is currently registering players and teams for its first ever 16-inch softball league.

A first of its kind in Brevard County, this fun-for-all sport is a great way to start the New Year off right. Players of all skill levels, ages 18 and older are welcome to join.

Register a team or as an individual. Registration costs $275 dollars per team for a roster of up to 20 players and includes 10 regular season games plus playoffs.

The winning team will be awarded custom, champion team t-shirts! Games will be played at Canaveral City Park located at 355 Monroe Ave in Cape Canaveral, every Thursday night beginning at 6:30 p.m.
