New Entrance, Parking Plaza Opens Today at Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex

BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA – A new entrance at Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex, designed to both excite visitors as well as create better traffic flow, will open on Monday.
The entrance features a new access road located off of Space Commerce Way, the entrance also includes a new parking plaza, designed to resemble NASA’s crawler-transporter which carried the massive Saturn V rocket, the space shuttles and in the near future, will carry the Space Launch System (SLS) to their launch pads.
The parking plaza features a total of six lanes and all parking fees will remain the same.
The new access road is located off of Space Commerce Way, to create better traffic flow to and from the visitor complex, according to a spokesperson with the Kennedy Space Center.
